Sinclair Technologies has developed an interactive children’s video game, Kidsight, that measures the central vision and field of vision while the child plays the game. Play time is expected to be approximately 4 to 10 minutes, and the player’s central and peripheral vision is be measured under a range of contrast, illumination, and color conditions. Work is ongoing to test stereopsis (depth perception) and ocular fixation.
The game has been tested in kiosk-style environments to date with great success. We are currently re-developing the game for easier distribution and a more exciting user experience.
